American Flag Screen Saver 1.2

Are you proud to be an American and would like everyone to know? Then why not put the American flag on your desktop? Why not use a screensaver that displays the proud, flying American flag on your computer’s monitor? Such a screensaver is the Acez Software-developed, the aptly named American Flag Screen Saver.

Once American Flag Screen Saver is up and running, it will display several US flags flying around, on top of a white background. In the middle of the screen the text “God Bless America!” is displayed. The text is made to resemble the US flag, obviously.

The option to view the flying flags on top of a white background is selected by default. There is one other option that you could try out – the option to display the flying flags on top of your regular desktop. You will see your desktop like you always do, just that US flags appear and start flying around.

Before you get American Flag Screen Saver and put it to the test, pay attention to these technical details:

Download – the download weighs in at some 1.5MB. Even on a less than spectacular internet connection, the download should complete in no time at all. It couldn’t take long to get American Flag Screen Saver off the web and onto your computer, not when you have to download 1.5MB.

Installation – you can install American Flag Screen Saver on just about any version of the Microsoft-developed Windows operating system. Pay attention during the installation process because American Flag Screen Saver comes bundled with a few extras – RelevantKnowledge, Dealio toolbar, and a free version of The Weather Channel Desktop. If you don’t want these extra bits, click “Decline” and they will not be installed. Because American Flag Screen Saver comes bundled with these extras, your antivirus application may flag the screensaver as dangerous and not let you download/install it.

Limitations – there are no limitations since American Flag Screen Saver is freeware. You can use it free of charge for as long as you want.
